Former Golden Band boss, Golden Kapyata chief Ronald Mayinja has vowed to squeeze girlfriend cum lover Joy Nagawa aka Jojo K over land title.

Musician Ronald Mayinja on Saturday when reached he considerably issued a tough warning to ex-lover Jojo K saying if she does not submit the alleged land title that he says belongs to him; he’s willing to do all it takes to see that he gets it. Mayinja notes;

“Am demanding what’s mine and I will get it regardless. How dare could she say ‘mbu amanjja?’ (that the money is owing)?”

Jojo K also a former singer in Golden Kapyata however says the Tuli Kubukenke star is a liar and has always been from way back the glory days of their romance. She reveals that Mayinja had left a hefty bank loan that she is still nursing alone. So with this, she notes that she is still young and not willing to run into battles with an old man over a pity land title;

“Nze nkyali mutto era njjakola ebyange (Am still young so I will hustle out and get), but the problem is one, he has to at least payoff the loan he had left for me to clear. He ate the money and took off, now the bank wants to take the house,” Jojo K reveals.

How It Started

Ronald Mayinja bought the controversial property (land) years ago in Bulindo from a one Nakabugo and that very year titles changed from her (Nakabugo) to Mayinja and lastly to Nagawa who holds it recently. The alleged property holds a 3 staled apartment on finishing on plot number 2227, block 123.

When Mayinja was recruiting performers and artistes into his defunct band (Golden Kapyata) Joy Nagawa (Jojo K) was also given a job as a performer. When that was done, Mayinja later got her phone number and invited her for some extra sessions.

He later asked her to be friends since she’s cute and hardworking a thing Nagawa accepted. But when she seemed jumpy, Mayinja later proposed to her with classy words to appear in his jam ‘Londa Nze’; and this won her because she was looking to grow in music and becoming a star. Here Jojo K became iconic among band members; that she was dinning with the boss Mayinja.

Not so far, Mayinja asked Jojo to record a song with him but on an offer of her dishing out Shs1.5 million a thing Jojo agreed. She gave him the money but the song never came out. She pleaded for her money but in vein.

When six months passed, Mayinja allegedly proposed to her and the next day the two were in bed. When Mayinja ate and so loved what he ate he went home and drawled the land title and gave it to her. When she discovered it didn’t belong in her names, she tasked him to change it into her names (Nagawa Joy) for the romance to continue.

As though possessed, in a day Mayinja accepted and the following day a lawyer was called for the titles to change. And they did. Romance carried on to the extent of them erecting using the same land title to acquire money from an alleged bank with Mayinja telling bonkmate Jojo of how his financial bank card had gone faulty. Then Jojo accepted to use her land title as surety to access a loan amounting to sh75m from bank for sweet hubby Mayinja to use and pay back later.

“Yes I did get money from bank. He told me his card was faulty so he can’t get anything. He promised to pay back all the money but he left everything so have been the one running the loan, alone,” Nagawa noted.

She then says she gave up on Mayinja and also willing to battle anything he plans to do.
