By our Reporter Yesterday Kiira court remanded a Mukono municipality based business woman, who operates a mini wholesale in Kiira town, Ruth Nantongo, 32, of Kansagalabi village for stabbing and robbing her hubby Musisi David also resident of Kira. It’s said that after Ruth, a mother of three getting her husband already asleep and a little drunk, she stabbed her in the stomach using a knife and later flee with his money amounting to over shs7.6M. However, talking to her for a comment about the case she’s being ruled on, with tooth and nail denied the accusations saying she didn’t commit any crime adding that it was goons that attacked them and robbed the money; “What is being said about me is a total lie; I really love my hubby and children. Actually by the time that incident happened I was out. I had gone to the clinic to buy some medicine for my child who was not feeling well, and on returning I got Musisi laying down in a pool of blood crying in anguish. Neighbors came and we took her to the Hospital. I didn’t even see the money nor did I know about it. Am imprisoned for nothing; I didn’t commit the crime,” Ruth revealed. Her case hearing has however been adjourned to 8th June this year and sent to Luzira prison on remand.
