Earlier this year in May, Uganda Airlines under its head Jenifer Bamuturaki signed a hot deal with a south African based Global Airlines.
The signed lease agreement known as ‘Wet lease’ has been noted to be a good move for revenue as it will empower sourcy travel and tourism impacts.
The new airbus A320 (Mid-range aircraft) runs a 160-seater capacity with a two-class cabin, 12 being business class and 138 economy seats. The reported aircraft came with its pilots and cabin crew and will support the Uganda Airlines with further maintenances. Bamuturaki notes further;
“The Airbus will help us a lot as we anticipate to open more routes.”
With Uganda Airlines operating on 13 routes, it plans to opening more routes in Zambia, London-UK, Nigeria and Zimbabwe.
