Today at around 10:00am, it all looked sad and blue at Uganda People’s Congress (UPC)’s headquarters in Kampala after the party’s right-hand man Peter Walubiri poked at his boss Jimmy Akena.

In the current situation where National Resistance Movement (NRM) is shaking almost every party in the country; Peter Walubiri, UPC’s lawyer has for once come out yelling on how the party’s president Akena is drowning them.

Walubiri says Jimmy Akena together with wife Betty Amongi who also doubles as a minister for Kampala are strongly slashing up UPC without fear or favour. Walubiri notes further;

“Akena ne Mukyala we akola nga minisata wa Museveni boona buli kimu mukuyuzza UPC loosely meaning ‘Akena and wife who’s a minister in President Museveni’s government are one in smashing UPC.”  He adds that Akena together with wife run the party in favour and interest of the NRM party and on wishes of president Yoweri K. Museveni. He says thus;

“Akena ne Mukyala we amufumbira emmere ewaka era gwasula naye bali kitole ne NRM (Akena and his wife who cooks for him with no doubt are one with NRM) they run on president Museveni’s will.”

Walubiri has also asked Akena to vacate UPC promises since he’s not legitimate. Akena has however vowed not to, revealing he is the only head been funding the party.

Note; UPC is not the only party that has come up with inside disputes, first was DP under Norbert Mao.
